Highcliffe Castle Wedding // Kat and Simon
When Kat and Simon first met, they had their first few dates down in Dorset, where Kat's parents own a sweet holiday cottage by the sea. This place is really special to them (it's also where Simon proposed with a stunning sapphire ring), so they chose the nearby Highcliffe Castle for their relaxed, coastal wedding. You can't get more relaxed and friendly than these two; Joey and I felt totally spoiled! We had our own little spots at a trestle table with their guests for dinner, which was such a treat. Kat and Si's wedding was incredibly personal; it really was all about family and friends, and this shone through throughout the day. From the stunning bouquets crafted by Simon's mum, to the wedding cake, each tier made by a different friend or relative. Even Oscar the family dog played a part!Highcliffe Castle is a lovely grand building with a showpiece centre space, as well as beautiful grounds where Kat and Si held their drinks reception. After they arrived in their campervan, that is! A little path zigzagged down to the coast, where they invited guests to an ice cream by the sea - windy as ever, but such a treat!Joey and I had an absolute blast with these two - from our first meeting where we spent hours chatting, to the wedding day and the viewing - it's been a great journey! Even having moved house and changed jobs within weeks of the wedding, these two celebrated with so much love and happiness. We couldn't be more thrilled to have been a part of all this. Thank you Kat & Si!
