Lucy and Alex // The Albion London Wedding
Alex and Lucy (brains and beauty behind Quill London, by the way). This beautiful London wedding began at the very cool Rosewood Hotel in central London. It was so lovely to see all the bridesmaids and Lucy's parents, aunt and nan all visit the suite at the Rosewood during the morning's preparations! Alex got ready at home - a stunning property that he and Lucy bought together in Brockley last year - along with his best men. Their wedding ceremony was at St James' Church in Clerkenwell (one of the loveliest London churches we have photographed in); after the ceremony, guests came out into the church gardens for homemade cocktails and lardy donuts and the most awesome brass band lifting everyone's spirits to the sunny skies. One of the highlights of the day was a relaxed stroll through Clerkenwell for a little stop at one of Lucy's favourite haunts, The Modern Pantry. Except this time, she was wearing her Osman wedding dress and Charlotte Olympia shoes, which naturally invited many smiles from passersby. After a little breather, merry on cocktails and happy bellies full of donuts, guests headed to the reception in Islington; a gorgeous little pub in the pretty Barnsbury area called The Albion. Blush pink and pastel flower arrangements were lovingly - and skilfully - created by the sister of the bride, Jen, and here the feasting continued. With the weather still calm, relaxed speeches followed in the pub's pretty gardens, and espresso martinis got the party going into the night.Al and Lucy: it was a true pleasure of ours to be a part of your wedding - many congratulations!
