Becca and James // Lincoln Wedding Photography
Becca and James celebrated their wedding in a little village near Lincoln where Becca grew up; very poignantly, they had a marquee put up in the beautiful gardens of Becca's mum's house, just months before it was sold. So, so many happy family memories in this place, and it was our privilege to capture some more for this lovely family before this chapter closed for new beginnings.Having done a London engagement shoot with Becca and James beforehand (which you can see here), Joey and I were excited about this day rolling around, and just loved the local friendly vibe of the day - from the pub nearby where guests gathered for a drink beforehand, to the old railway house where the wedding reception took place, serving up local sausages and mash as the wedding feast!Becca had spent the months beforehand collecting sweet, unique glassware from local markets and family and friends helped set up the stunning table greenery and decor. With a cheese-cake and local cider and beer kegs, what more could guests ask for!! Joey and I were treated so wonderfully as well by both families and friends, which we were so grateful for.We hope you enjoy this selection of photos from Becca and James' big day (look out for the no-hands-profiteroles-stuffing by James! A man after our own hearts!). SO much fun, love and a tiny bit of rain...but who cares about that when laughter, food and cider is flowing!
